Avis to storage card

How can I just put avi files on my storage card? Every time I try it tries to convert them, I was just going to try and play them with divx mobile. Please help. Thank you.

Re: Avis to storage card

Go to your local Radioshack and pick up a Memory card reader for $10 and just copy it that way. Not only will it not try to convert your avi video files but it will transfer them faster as well.

Go into WMDC and disable the setting that tells it to try to convert it. AVI's are not standard WM file extensions and are not regularly usable without a 3rd party app such as core player or tcpmp.

Re: Avis to storage card

Sorry. I have Vista so I use Windows Mobile Device Center(WMDC). If you have XP then you should have ActiveSync. There should still be a setting that will disable the auto-convert.
