Icon Not Goin Away!!!!!

ok i need help gettin rid of a icon that i already deleted out of the programs list, when i click the icon the program doesnt launch so im guessin its gone but the icon is still there

First- did you soft reset? If you did and it still shows up:
Look in the windows directory with a file explorer like total commander and delete the icon. It should be in either windows/programs or windows/start menu depending on where it shows up.

yea i just tried that but didnt c it in the list of files

You have to go back to start/settings/menus/ put a check in the box that you want to remove then go back to the windows start menu programs and it will be there.to delete.

ok they r out the programs menu but on my start menu so now where do i go to delete it for good
