Cube edits on XV6900

I've noticed on cube editing threads several posts that say "This only works on the CDMA version Sprint Touch and not GSM." Anybody know if cube editing on the XV6900 is the same as the Sprint Touch?

They are both CDMA, thus more identical, so it should work similar.
