spb mobile instaling problems

i dont know if its suppose to do this but when i install it, it just leaves the regular today screen up and then i have to open it myself to have it come up and if i press end key or x it goes back to the today screen

Yes it is suppose to act this way. It doesn't take over the today screen.

If you want it to there is a little app call 'SpbWatcher' which you can search for. Either here or over at XDA developers. When you install it every time you hit the today screen it will re launch Spb Mobile Shell.
