How to disable the status Popup balloon on top?

Every time I answer a call, my ear presses against the status bar on top, which in turn launches the balloon. How do I disable this popup balloon? I have a feeling that it's causing issues whenever I try to press a button during a call.

What is your registry setting for your touchscreen sensitivity:

\HKLM\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings\FingerPressure=???

You may want to lower this number by a hundred at a time to "stiffen up your screen" so your ear won't activate anything. Mine is set at 4800, I think somewhere someone recommended 5500 for lighter tapping. That's my official guess!

I know this may not be just keep the screen off when I'm talking on mine to not only keep from unwanted response from the phone but It also helps preserve battery life
