Well I've tried different versions from different chefs and there was always one or two versions from each chef that worked well for me.. meaning no lockups and a good experience through out the whole rom. So I'd have to say if your really into messing with this stuff then try a few versions from different chefs and you might find the same.
I just got into flashing custom roms and it reminds me of when I was into overclocking computers. I was always into flashing custom bios versions to my motherboard back then and it was the same way. What works for one might not for another and what doesnt work for one might work well for another.. (if that makes sense..lol)
There is just too many variables to make it perfect for everyone.
