Update coming, least for Alltel
Spoke at length with an Alltel programmer Saturday. Nice guy for a blackberry user but I clued him in on us here and lots of software and stuff (even plugged the macflo). He shared with me info on an update coming in the next month. This may be old news for some but there are two big fixes in the update one of which is the "not ringing in sleep mode" problem. The other was the data connection shutoff problem but I clued him in on some fixes the folks around here already had for that sort of thing.
No word on OS 6.1 but they are saying third quarter of this year.

Excellent news on the sleep mode issue! It makes the phone so unreliable at times.
