Question about touchflo

I realize a lot of people have reg edited to stop the touchflo cube from coming up, but has anybody tried to remove completely? If so, what was the effect on performance of the touch after removal. I guess I'm trying to figure out if touchflo uses a lot of resources when running in the background. I rarely use touchflo (only when showing the phone to other people) so I figure I might as well remove it if it had some effect on performance.

Thanks for any replies

Re: Question about touchflo

touchflo uses about 7 to 8 MB of RAM. 5 for the Biotouch app and about 1.2 for each side. removing it completely would only be possible through a custom ROM.

DCD's Kitchen (1.0.4), over on X-D-A is setup so that TouchFlo and Biotouch are both optional.
