silly little glitch

I'm using a background image that's on the device. The image is in \My Documents\My Pictures\Backgrounds

I made it the background image via the image viewer, so I could set the transparency. Unfortunately, every now and then the screen flickers and it looks like the image viewer is coming up as I can see the top bar of the app briefly.

Any idea on how to fix that or is it just a typical windows mobile glich?

What type file is it, and how big? When my background image was a BMP, it apparently created a glitch with the background in my large start menu because converting the image to JPG fix'd the glitch! My guess is that file type is not the issue, but file size is.

It's a jpg and 12k
