Re: Best Gmail Solution for Sprint HTC Touch..

There is a tutorial in your gmail settings/options under enable IMAP. If you flashed to 6.1 then it should recognize during email setup that it is gmail and will do most of the setup for you!

Yes. Goto your gmail account options/settings and goto Enable IMAP, there are instructions for windows mobile. Also, use the search feature as there is already a thread based upon this.

+1 for flexmail. You can make it look almost like your desktop outlook with multiple panes and all if you are into that sort of thing.

Re: Best Gmail Solution for Sprint HTC Touch..

I just forward my gmail to a hotmail account, html formatting is always correct and i get new emails immediately. I dont really respond by a lot of emails on my phone but if you need to then maybe you'd want to try a different option

Re: Best Gmail Solution for Sprint HTC Touch..

or... i just have my IE homepage on my phone set to iGoogle, and the first thing on the page is my gmail... shows the 5 most recent emails on there, and the mobile version of the gmail page works well. and it stays logged in. plus all my email isnt stored on the phone, so i can still access it on the gmail page from any computer.
