Custom MP3 text alert only works for a few hours, then stops

After a while... it doesn't work. It will only work for a few hours, then just silence when I get a text.

Its an MP3 file, which I put in My Device\Application Data\Sounds, and then chose it using the "Sounds & Notifications."
