Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

Ok, I put it onto my sd card and ran it. I absolutely love it (I love linux to begin with). It's so much more smooth than WM. The only things I had an issue with was the camera, seems to crash the phone. And the second thing is when the phone screen turns off, whether manually or automatically, sometimes I can't resume the phone, which results in needing to soft reset.

But otherwise I think this is a major step forward for our phones!

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

The buttons are mapped differently with android you may have to search thru this thread to find out what they are ... Also you wouldn't have to take your battery out in the case of your phone looking up, look at the bottum of your phone by the mini usb see the tiny hole poke your stylus in there = a soft reset, completely safe for your device and all info...

Just click SD Card or Memory card. Thats the root. The first thing that pops up.

For example: SD Card/Music/Track3.mp3 In this case root is "SD Card".

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

Is the Android shortcut in the program menu supposed to work?

I can only get Android going by running Haret.

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

me too, the shortcut doesn't seem to work....

Other than that, it runs great except I'd like a file browser so i can manage and email files on the sd card.

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

Honestly, Im sure the music will be up and running soon enough. After that I do not need anything else besides my contacts and the script to make it start up right off the bat when I turn on the phone. Its so much better then windows. Omg thank yoU!

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

How odd... I downloaded the cab from myhtcphone and it is running perfectly, but for some strange reason it's tracking some guy from Northern California. If you use the my location feature, that blue dot is moving.

It's kinda funny in a way.
