not exactly, i let the bell rom install all the way, i did not soft reset the phone when it told me to calibrate the screen... then after it was done installing, i flashed it to the vzw 6.1 rom, at first it did not let me receive/send messages and calls, until i called verizon for them to authenticate my device, that fixed my receiving/sending messages and calls, but it did not fix the data error. When ever i try to connect through the data network, error:11 ppp pops up, and then it says cannot connect to network...

Oh so you don't even have data in wm...

Well I have seen that mentioned many times here on ppcgeeks. Not sure what the fix was though. I think it had something to do w/ updating your Preferred Roaming List (PRL). Run a couple searches and see what you come up with.

Also try calling Verizon again and telling them that you have no data connection, I think that they should be able to fix that.

So you have tried working with the settings in settings, connections, connections, manage existing connections under verizon?

Also try iota

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

Try toggling on and off a few times. By me it takes at least twice sometimes three times.
This post has been thanked 2 times.

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

Can you back up your text messages? Are they somehow archived on your gmail account?

Can you run all the 3rd party programs yet?

Does Android for Vogue support power-saving modes yet? (Can the phone make it through a full day yet?)

I can safely bet this is not the case, otherwise people would be flashing FULL Android ROMs to their Vogue, and not loading on top of WM.

You can have all your settings and txts backed up.

Android for Vogue does have good power-saving modes and such now (yes it can easily make it through a full day).

We do not yet know how to flash a full android rom. And even if we did, why get rid of WM? it may not be very good but...can't hurt to save it for a rainy day.
