Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

All right I'm running the xrod version, it works but slower then the 1.5 cupcake version but that is expected lol
But I'm having an issue with the screen going back to portrait from land scape, any ideas

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

Im running the (xROM-zen-build-080709.zip) build from the google code website.

Now when I go into landscape mode it goes fine when I hit the camara and hit left on the D-pad. But when I try to go back to portrit and hitting the buttons again is will not go back. I have to open an app that is in portrit and sometime it will go back other it will stay in landscape.

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

I'm trying the latest build, and have had the problem of it not booting, but scrolling constantly, like it is caught in some kind of loop. The loop get slower as time goes on, but I never reach the Andiod screen. Anyone know way this is happening? Earlier buids by various authors did not do this.

I get this, too. I'd love to try the newest builds, but I have only been able to get one of the early V1.5's to boot properly. It is Build# CRB43. I've tried with and without the data file, everything in the card's root directory as well as an Android directory in the main memory root.
I'm using an 8GB card. I'm going to try an older 1GB as I've read other people have had success with a smaller one, but I'd prefer to keep using the 8GB. I've got a Bell Touch with stock 6.1 if that matters.

I had the same problems also. Try this new build guys: zen-hero-090809. It is damn near perfect Make sure your card is empty and just unzip the package. Do not add anything else.

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

I tried the zen hero and first time I ran haret.exe, it just went blank and did nothing. I then edited the default.txt and made ppp_start=1, it booted up but stopped at the line saying no tty1 input found some job stopped blah blah

I havent managed to get android working on this phone since 1.1. I remember 1.0 used to work great.

try to open the default.txt, scroll down to the second to last line and you'll see "panel_type=1 no_console_suspend""

Delete the 1 and replace it with 3. Hit ok, it may ask if you would prefer to save it in word format, just say no.

You should be good to go.

run haret

Good luck.
