Java midlets wont work

hey, im trying to install ESPN MLB Gamecast midlet for Java, and it installs, i can see the little icon but when i try to run it, all i get is a white screen... anyway to fix this?

i included Java on my custom ROM... it opens up fine and says it installs the midlet okay, but when i go to run the midlet it goes into a white screen... is there anohter Java Emulator out there?
