Cab for regedits - Page 4

i try again (and i have tried installing to the device and the storage card) but nothing works. any ideas?

My original did't install either. I don't recall what, but it was one of two things. You have to have your cab install at least one file, or I set the max os build to 0e0000000h. That's what I had to do to get those to install properly on the device.

i didn't changed anything from the default settings when i created the cab and didn't put any file inside the cab to be installed.. if you want i can edit your cab and post it here...

Hey, I was just trying to make a quick cab for some touchscreen boosts/fixes, but wince cab manager is being more than a little picky...wont import the "touchpanel" one...any suggestions/ideas/tips/"dude...duh"'s etc...??

jim... you want to add these settings to the old cab or you want me to create a new one? and you can create the keys manually ...

well i would sorta like both done.

two separate cabs, one for my little brother for his screen sensitivity. he has a mogul/titan though and...weird thing is those keys werent even there to begin with. does anyone know anything about that?

here you go dude.. two separate cabs

enjoy.. and when you face a problem with wince not importing certain keys, you can just create them manually in wince cab manager and it will accept it.. this is the first time i noticed that wince won't import some keys!

If it is for registry edits i.e. your cab contains an xml file with registry entries, this happened to me too. It turned out to be a registry entry that simply wouldn't install via xml - cab ... or at least I couldn't figure out how to make it install.
