Re: sms char. count in 6.1

Hmmmm here is a contain of sms160fix.cab (Thanks to Codybear)

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\SMS\ TextShared]
"IS637MaxAsciiCharacters"=dword:000000a0 (decimal 160)

In my ROM generic6.5 ROM +installed sprint dcd cab after flashing)
regentry

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\SMS\ TextShared]

IS ABSOLUTELY EMPTY and I can send 160 charachters(tested myself).The counter is under blue line,after 160 it starts second sms...

My guess- its better to keep that entry clean,that way carrier will control the limit (the limit will be synced with carrier)+ less entryes=cleaner ROM.Am I right?

The best solution is to remove everything under this line:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\SMS\ TextShared]
