Stable wm6.1 Roms ?

all the wm6.1 roms seem to lockup periodically, mostly during long phone calls.

anyone else know anything about this? Suggestions? Thanks.

anything that starts out with ... all the ... is going to get varied replies.

you might be better off listing the ROM's that you have tried, which exhibited this behavior and ask if there are other WM6.1 roms which do not do the same.

you could also take a look at the Kitchen that OMJ put together which can build a very close to stock sprint WM6.1 rom, but also allows extra ingredients to be added, via OEM folders.

Mustans Mega Rom, Mr Geoffs , and one other , basically the fully loaded Roms.

I don't have any problems with ghettofreeryders roms, but then again, I don't make long phone calls. there is the occasional lockup, but it's only once or twice a week, still worth the xtra performance and features.

Try No2Chems 6.1 Build. ive experienced one "lockup" after a 35min phone call when i went to hang up, the call ended but i couldnt get the screen to wake up. About 40 seconds later though it came back up and the phone worked fine after that. His is the most stable that ive personally tried IMO.

I've used OMJ's ROMs and haven't had any lockups. I've been using his v7 for a while now and its been fine.

If you only seem to experience lockups on long calls, try this reg edit:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Phone]
"Sleep"

Change the value from 1 to 0 to disable allowing phone to go to sleep mode durring calls.

Yes,

OMJ's v7 ROM has not locked up on me at all.

There is a fix for the 'long phone call lockup'.
It's a registry edit that keeps the phone from going into sleep mode during a call.

HKCU\ControlPanel\Phone change "Sleep" from 1 to 0

If that is the only problem with your ROM, make the fix and be happy, don't worry.

i have been experiencing lock ups on not only calls but IE always freezes everytime and also when i type a text message

You know I wish that you guys would take the time to do some searching ALL CUSTOMIZED WM6.1 ROMS HAVE SOME FREEZING ISSUE ALL OF THEM ALL OF THEM ALL OF THEM THEY WILL FREEZE ON YOU AT ANY TIME ALL OF THEM FREEZE THERE ARE ONLY AS FAR AS I KNOW TEST VERSIONS OF 6.1 THAT MEANS BETA WHICH MEANS BUGS WHICH MEANS FREEZE ......... UGHHH
