Stable wm6.1 Roms ? - Page 2

Hmm... If that's the case then why hasn't my OMJ v7 ROM experienced the "FREEZE" issue you're talking about? Not ONCE has it froze. If you guys would leave the page pool settings alone I'd expect that the other ROMS would be more stable as well.

I'm not saying that 6.1 is perfect, but I do not get any lock ups with OMJ V7 ROM.

than why dont all the chefs including yourself have a disclaimer saying "this rom will make your phone freeze guarenteed as it is in Beta". that would be alot easier for people that are looking for an upgrade and not a downgrade to a freezing rom. i have installed countless roms and i must say evryone has frozen on me repeatedly except omj's but i dont like his apps so i didnt use it much.. and i just installed ghettos latest and it looks nice but we'll see if i have any isues..i hate all this rom installing because i lose all my app hystory than i have to reinstall over and over again and the UC doesnt cut it cuz i still have to put in the serials and some apps only come in exe.'s..i cant back up using spb or sprite cuz they just dont work..its a mission..if ghettos rom doesnt work out than im installing the sprint OEM rom and ill wait for this summer for the sprint release of there 6.1 gps + rev a rom and ill come back to see whats cooking.

we don't work for htc or microsoft all of these roms are beta we don't own any of them we just customize whats there that is why most of us say use this at your own risk or I take no resposibilty ...... yada yada if yall flash so much then yall haven't gave any rom time work or not I'm not saying his may not work but I know that with all the time that I have to do my research every device that wm6.1 is ported to has a freeze issue the only device that it is truly sucessful on would be the kaiser which most of the roms come from
I share what I use and thats it I don't build for money or whatever............

C'mon Savior,
EVERYTHING on this site is 'custom' or 'tweaked' or 'beta', hell, WM6.1 is not even officially out. If you are flashing, you have to know you take a risk of software that doesn't work exactly right. To admonish the chefs is just not fair.
Cook your own ROM or put up with some beta growing pains. Or go back to the original ROM and be content with it.

Btw, OMJ's v7 has not locked up on me once.

i havent have one phone freeze yet with the 6.1 stock oem roms by jakekillard.

omg WOWWWWW just finished installing all my apps and set up all my emails and customized htc pocket plus and diaries and everything else registered all serials and as soon as i fnished setting everything up my phone just hard resetted out of no where!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!! im goingback to OEM rom.

the no sleep on phone fix seems to have worked, not one reset or freeze today! YAY!

I'm running one of OMJ's early 6.1s and the reg edit noted above. I have ZERO problems with lockups. Ironically, before I did the reg edit, I would get lockups in IE and on phone calls with ANY 6.1 ROM.

So, a bit of advice...DO THE REG EDIT!

Also I have been running Jack Dillards's Sprint OEM 6.1 rom (build 19199) for a few weeks now and have not experienced a single freeze... It has been brilliant, definitely a worth while UPgrade.
