Re: New Touch??
The Touch Dual was GSM, they have built a CDMA version, no clue on when it will be released or who will carry it first but im sure Sprint will jump at it, considering the keyboard is a main "talking point" ( i wont say issue) on why people might go for the mogul

Re: New Touch??
I would love to have a keyboard I just kinda wonder how much fatter it is then the regular touch I found 3 or 4 different articles but none of them had any size comparisons

Re: New Touch??
Oh ok, so I get it. Instead of returning my phone calls, you're on here talkin' about work. I see how it is. Let's see how you return my calls when I don't pay for RENT this month! How about THAT!

Re: New Touch??
When previewing new phone options, looked at a Touch Dual right next to the Touch with no external keyboard...that was around the 2nd week of March. So, I can verify for everyone, Sprint -does- have the Dual available, and the store we visited had a model out in their row of sample phones.
As far as size, it's nearly the same dimensions as the regular touch in height & width. The phones were in the locked security holsters, so it was hard to get a true feel for how much thicker the slide-out keypad made the dual model. My gut feeling is that the dual was only 1/3 larger than the Touch, but that's only a guess. |

HTC Touch Dual : Dimensions 107mm (L) X 55mm (W) X 15.8mm (T) http://www.expansys-usa.com/d.aspx?i=160174 Vs. HTC Touch : Dimensions 99.9mm (L) x 58mm (W) x 13.9mm (D) http://www.expansys-usa.com/d.aspx?i=160175 So it's a very small difference in size, but clearly worth it for a suretype style keyboard when that onscreen keyboard just won't cut it. Let's hope Best Buy picks up all of the HTC devices...
