Re: Best push e-mail client for Vogue?

FlexMail is VERY problem prone.

Many users have lost entire mailboxes/accounts due to corruption. Push is very unreliable and runs the battery down in a hurry. The program itself is generally unstable and has caused many device lock-ups/crashes. And FM does not integrate with any of the os counters like the htc home screen or spbsuite.

YMMV

Seven beta will allow you to get mail for the last 5, 7, 14 or 30 days. Plus you can get HTML mail and setup more than one account, etc etc

Re: Best push e-mail client for Vogue?

yep. seven uses imap, so the inbox will look like your inbox and changes are reflected as such. sprint uses pop, which is one of the reasons it sucks

i have my sprint email configured as imap, they support both pop and imap.

push mail is great for instant email notification, but i found myself getting rather low battery performance due to push mail - it doesn't really matter what software you use; battery will suffer about 25%,.

right now i'm okay with outlook and 15 minute interval updates, since battery is more important to me than instant email. this is with activesync of course which sucks battery life for some reason.

Re: Best push e-mail client for Vogue?

I use:

1 And 1 - for person email and domain
Seven Beta - Hotmail, Yahoo, and Work Email

Seven works great except since it is in beta, some accounts stop syncing for about 4 hours at a time. 1 and 1 works good to but they require that you have some policy installed on your phone. Which requires that you set a pin every time you do a reset.

I tried mail2web but I couldn't use it, since I have 5 person domains that I need to forward. I would of had to pay a mint to get that to work.
