2 simple Customization Questions

Hey yall, so I'm trying to make my own customization file, and I understand how to do it for the most part (I cooked the SDautorun into a stock 6.1 ROM) I'm just unsure about 2 things:

1) Does the CPY1/CPY2 command automatically override the files already in the destination directory or not? (if not how can I have it do that, if possible)

2) Does the customization process begin as soon as I place the miniSD card in or does the phone need to be hard reset (or maybe soft reset)?

Edit: Also out of curiosity this shouldn't interfere with sprint customizations right?

1) I'm not sure, what I did was create a cab that copies the files during UC.
2) UC takes places after flashing/hard resetting.
3) No, it wont interfere, UC will run after Sprint customizations has run.

, now doing a hard reset or flashing a new ROM will be a much faster process and less agravating

you are not out of the weeds yet, any cab that requires user input during install, or an ok dialogue, or one that opens the program when done (memmaid) will freeze UC keep this in mind when choosing what autoinstalls
I had problems with:
resco today, reason: pop up after install telling you to restart.
memmaid, reason: opens memmaid when install is complete
spb plus, reason: dialoge asking if you would like to assosiate zip files

Oh I didnt know that programs that require a restart also freeze up.
But all you have to do is use the HIDE and UNHIDE (whatever it is I cant remember now) command so that you can input whatever needed, and then it just hides again. Lol now I cant remember which of my programs require a restart. Trial & error here I come
