Re: Sd Card picture not saving
yah rite on... So now i have to ask, anybody else reading this post.. do you install on your card, or internal memory?? If you install on your card, why do you choose your card over the internal memory? Why did i choose the card?? To be honest, i'm not sure. now that i think about it, i don't think it makes a whole lot of sense because i'm finding that the read and writes to the internal memory when loading programs to be a fair bit faster. |

Re: Sd Card picture not saving
I had the same problem with it not saving video files to the card. I know there is an earlier thread on this issue, but to save you the search.
Short version. Delete the DCIM folder, the camera app will recreate it on the card. Should work then. Easy long term solution is don't format the card anywhere but in the Touch. Good luck, Stu |

This doesn't always work. When it happened to me, i tried to do that and it didn't work. Still had to format the card. Just thought it would be worth mentioning in case somebody else ends up reading this thread down the road with a similar problem. |

Re: Sd Card picture not saving
I just had this problem this morning
Somehow in the DCIM folder, I was missing the folder called "100MEDIA". I tried to add the folder but it kept telling me I didn't have permission or something to that affect. I took out the card and I added it thru my PC but the Touch couldn't read it. So using the Touch, I deleted the DCIM folder, recreated the DCIM and created the "100MEDIA" folder in the DCIM folder. Now when I point the camera to storage my pics to the card , it's in the 100MEDIA foder. The DCIM folder somehow must have gotten currupted. You need to make sure you have it as storage card > DCIM > 100MEDIA as this is the "stock" registry way. And the pic with be storaged in the 100MEDIA folder.
