Remove programs after a sprite restore?

I've searched a bit and couldn't find this. I updated my ROM (everything went fine) I then tried to restore with Sprite backup (I wasn't really expecting it to work) good news it did work using the Safe mode restore. There were a few issues like No2Chem 1% battery hack and a few other minor ones. I fixed them now by reinstalling, this brings me to my question though I can't un-install anything that sprite restored they don't show in my remove programs list. I was curious if there's a program to find these and remove them when I choose to un-install something. Or if it's just best to delete the folder from program files and use something like pocket mechanic to clean out the registry? Sorry for the length.

Re: Remove programs after a sprite restore?

Is there any way you could remove the programs from the Sprite interface? (don't have the program, so don't really know)

Re: Remove programs after a sprite restore?

I am sure you could do a custom restore by selecting the programs you dont want to restore as long as you know where they are located. Personally I ended up reloading all software from scratch after I flashed my rom because I couldnt get activesync to work when I restored my data usng sprite.

Re: Remove programs after a sprite restore?

well I got pocket mechanic and it solved all my problems. it finds the programs and will uninstall them. also it will clean out my registry which was desperately needed since I used a backup off an old rom on my new rom. hope this helps anyone else.
