opening pics thru email help

when i try to open a picture via email it opens it thru TCPMP adn i cannot figure out how to save it to my phone with that program. how can i get the pictures to open thru another porgram not thru TCPMP? thanks in advance. i searched this topic to no avail.

You could probably change the file association if you have a registry editor. If you look at HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT you will see values for your files extentions. For example there should be one for .jpg

For me, the .jpg has a Default string value of Resco_jpgfile because I have the Resco photo viewer installed. Also in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT I have another value for Resco_jpgfile and from there you can control what application is launched.

EDIT: There's certainly 3rd party software out there that can manage the file associations as well. -e.

Have you tried holding down on the attached file in the email. A drop down menu will appear and you should be able to save it from there....
