Possible Fix For Text/email Probs.

Hi, great site ive learned so much so fast. I have read wher people have had their text and or email buttons go dead or unable to launch the email or text applications on the sprint touch. This has happened to me...HARD RESET, set up email, check email, everythings fine....then for whatever reason i will soft reset the device.....email account gone but setting still stored on device so i cant recreate the account....text messaging not working....cant do anything....WTF???? So i called sprint they didnt know what was going on but the Tech i talked to said that "yahoo" will somehow deactivate their account on your phone, as your phone does pop3 and imap4 accounts, yahoos mail server isnt a true pop3 or imap 4 server. but they will allow you access to their pop/imap server if you do the "paid" email account. Now this could be true or just ,plain bull**** but either way hotmail and sprintmail have just survived 4 soft resets with zero text messaging problems, no more system slowdown, or screen refresh startup lag....looking for the experts here totell me...will yahoo "free" mail account work on the touch?
