please help with new icons and home for touch (soooo confused)

Hi Guys,
Please forgive me but I am new to tis site and I have searched and reviewed the forums etc. But I am still totally lost. I have a touch, and I see people with different icons all of the time and different home pages. How can I get these icons and put them on my home page?

Nic, not sure exactly which icons you are referring to but there is a program by HTC called Home Customizer, that has different icons for the ones under the clock. There are also programs such as WAD or SPB Plus that let you totally customize your phone. I am relatively new to this site but there are others to. Maybe do a search for themes and see if that helps.
