Help with HTC customizer icons

I downloaded some nice icon sets from this site to use with the HTC home customizer. I downloaded them, then used activesync to explore and go to program files/HTC Customizer/files/icons and put them in there. On my phone i go to the customizer settings, i see it in the dropdown for icons but when i apply it nothing happens. I tried 3 different sets and its not working. What am i doing wrong?

they all have to be compatible with whatever themes your using.
