Flashing with Vista?

Anyone know the tips on getting the ROMUpdateUtility.exe to properly run under Vista. I'm using Vista Enterprise at work.

Keeps thinking the process is non-responsive and restarts the process

Re: Flashing with Vista?

I tried that to. Didn't work for me. Save yourself some time. Do it on a XP machine or run XP on a virtual machine.

Have you tried VM and had it work for you? Which VM software did you use?

The VM software that I tried didn't give the hosted XP OS driver level access to the USB port owned by Vista, so didn't work for me.

Re: Flashing with Vista?

It worked fine for me in VMware. I tried it several times using the other method. Not sure why it wouldn't work on my phone
