Re: Flashing with Vista?

I flash with Vista and was ok. I am using stock ROM though so not sure if it matters.

Re: Flashing with Vista?

tried those steps, but the bootloader showing the "ERROR [260]" issue, which and couldnt find the right answer, only maybe the bootloader didnt match, but ive used the same bootloader on XP before

i did use the microSD install, and it works, but would be nice to have Vista working

Re: Flashing with Vista?

I flash with Vista all the time. I also flash on WinXP - I don't see any difference.

Re: Flashing with Vista?

I've been using Windows Vista Ultimate to flash my Sprint Touch and Sprint Apache for the last couple of months now and have had no problems at all. Always works just fine even if the device is in bootloader mode. Just run the RUU as administrator.

I'm gonna answer my own question, to get into bootloader from the phone: hold top button, camera button, then the reset button. That will put you into bootloader to flash from your sd card.
