Anybody's screen have a rainbow, kaleidoscope effect?

By this I mean that on my phone all of a sudden there is a rectanglar patch of this rainbow effect on my phone, sort of like looking in a kaleidoscope. IT looks like the effect you get when you touch a LCD monitor; just imagine that effect there all the time. It's looks as if something is consistently pressing on my screen in a square faction.

Anybody experiencing this?

I've seen posts on here as well as SU about this problem. I think reason behind this was the different layers of the screen being too close and now its kind of "bent" inwards. I'm sure I just butchered the facts but it was something like that. If you have Phone Insurance through your carrier, I would go through that.

yea, there are a couple of posts on it, hope you have insurance.

if so, take it in store and they'll swap it out right away- it's a known screen defect.

i got it on mine, it doesnt bother me though.. only on solid gradient blank screens can you really see it.

i handed my phone to a female, she rubbed it and said "ooo i like the water effect, how'd you do that?"

i almost busted out laughing in her face.
