Flashed to 6.1 didn't lose all my data

just thought i'd pass this along and im not sure i flashed correctly but it's working so im happy lol but when i flashed my phone to the 6.1 original sprint oem rom i let it go through the normal actions and it reboot the phone and started the windows setup and when i got to my today screen i went on my normal routine of adding back software when i opened file explorer i noticed that my documents weren't erased and after installing resco explorer that alot of my registry entries were also intact just had to re-sync my contacts and re-install my programs and was back up an running. I remember from my 6700 that you had to manually hard reset after flashing so, I was wondering if that was also needed for the touch. And wanted to see if anyone tried flashing without hard resetting to see what happened. I forgot to mention that i was flashing from one 6.1 rom to another updated one so maybe that is the reason it kept everything?

I always hard reset after any rom change, so I always loose my data.

It's always best to do a hard reset before and after flashing, isn't it?

that's what i thought and the first time i flashed my touch it hard reset itself so i don't know why this time it didn't

Mabe your phones storage didnt get cleared like it was supposed to. I would actually consider that a glitch but one that was in your favor.
