Does anyone here NOT use a different today/main screen???

I have tried pretty much all of them, and being my phone is brand new due to a stupid accident I had, I have yet to put on a different today screen. I don't really love the stock HTC/Sprint but I don't know what to do

ouch Mr. Grumpy Gills!!! I found this thread interesting. I don't think it was meant to be a 'post your today screen' thread... i understood it to be a survey of sorts inquiring if anyone actually uses the stock today screen. my curiosity is piqued...continue please.

Who are you?? Close this thread?? You know the whole Search button thing is RIDICULOUS! If it wasn't for people making topics there would be NO SEARCH!! Stop jumping on the bandwagon, this thread is useful as I am looking for other people that do not use any thing but the stock today screen.

I use HTC Home, the stock tasks listing, and the stock appointments listing. I have not found much of anything else that I liked.

HTC Home is useful enough and is not bad for something that comes with the phone. The only thing I wished it would do is tell me when I have a new email in a folder other then just the inbox. If anyone has found a way to correct this please PM me I would love to hear how.

I would like to try other screens but haven't figured out how to do a lot of serious customizing. I use the stock screen with the H HC plug in. I wish there was a good guide to this. But even on stock I can do everything. It Might not be pretty but it is functional.

I've had the HTC Touch (Sprint) since December and have changed the home screen a few times but came back to the original home screen. Simple, easy and efficient.

I do like S2U2 and PocketCM for contacts.

I pretty much use the stock today screen. I just HTC Home and Today Agenda. I turned off the HTC Sprint plugin because I didn't use the apps in it.

I also use the stock cube because I don't really use the cube at all. Between the app launcher in HTC Home and the first apps listed in my Start menu, I don't need more shortcuts.

I changed the background image, and that's about all.

I use stock. Only HTC Home and stock Calendar plugins. Oh, and VistaHide Battery Meter.

Maybe the OP should add a poll to this thread asking whether people use stock or custom.

After alot of customizing, I also like stock with HHC just to make it more cartoonish.. It's kinda unique when compared to everyone elses "phones" not including other HTC phones.

The Samsung Time and LG Prada plugins are quite nice IMHO and very different.

You said you tried them all.. So I am guessing Phone Alarm, Wisbar, SBP phone suite.. With those plugin/apps you pretty much can make your phone / today screen look very unique..

All those CUBEs and skins are very unique as far as I'm concerned.

But then again, it's like with PC operating systems, Windows XP or Vista.. Even MAC OS.. in the end after all is said and done.. It's still Windows XP, Vista or Mac OS with a few customizations. They all start to look the same.

This even applies for all the Linux/Unix GUI clones.. In the end they all look like the Amiga Workbench

I.E. Every Rice Boy with his Honda Civic customizations... It still looks like a Honda Civic..

P.s. I am hoping for replacement colorful back/battery covers and or complete housings in the near future.. But then again it's a matter of time you get bored of that and will see everyone and their mothers with them..

P.S.S. Humm clear metallic color cases with running colored LED.. wow that would be unique.. Maybe even hang some customizes danggling thing off the strap attachment.. That would be special.

I use a white with black text today screen with sbp shell, phone alarm, and today agenda.
