Dust INSIDE my screen!!!

There are dust particles inside my HTC Touch.(No you smart a** Titan owner, its not from a lack of using my device) You can really see it when the back light is off. I called my local Sprint store and they said they "would take a shot" at cleaning it. They asked if I had insurance(I do) which scared me so I figured I would ask you guys(and girls) what you think I should do. Oh yeah....I own a small drywall company so avoiding dust isn't really an option.

Thats strange because these screens have no crystal in front of the screen like a lot of cell phones do, so I don't really know how dust could get in there. I don't really have an answer for you, but you have nothing to lose by taking it to Sprint, so why not.

Not common, but well known problem. Caused by improper seal of the lense with the seating tape. They should be able to fix you right up

I have dust in my touch too. Only 1 dust particle is big enough to bother me when the screen is on though. No clue how it got there, haven't had any more dust since. I tried using a high pressure air nozzle against every conceivable place where dust could have entered my phone, nothing. I'm stumped.

edit: I put the air nozzle all around the entire edge of the screen and dust didnt move.

I totally know what your talking about and its driving me crazy!!!
I think it might be because i keep my phone in my pocket all the time and it seeps through the little earpiece part.
My dads buddy who works in a dental office is gonna try to take a crack at with with his high powered air,
I just hope it works.

Sorry for the sarcasm. I wish I knew a way to fix your problem other than taking apart the phone which could be fatal if not done correctly.

Most RadioShacks can get that phone sent in and cleaned up for you. Then get the silicone case.

DO NOT let them try to clean it in the store!! And labor is $30 or $59. Depends if we classify it as minor repair or not.
