Getting Comcast email to work on Sprint Touch!

I have tried to get my comcast email to work on my Sprint Touch. I did the automatic setting first, No go. I changed to uncheck the SSL stuff. Still nothing. I put in mail.comcast.net and smtp.comcast.net. I have tried everything. It says connecting, then gets stuck on logging in, and then times out. I installed Sprint Mobile email, which it does work with, but I don't like the program. You can only have one account setup. It says I can have more than my comcast account, but I couldn't figure that out. Also, I didn't like that there was no option to leave message on server. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

By the way, I have no problem getting my gmail or yahoo email on the Touch, just Comcast.

If anyone knows of a better email program that works on the Sprint Touch, that would be good also.

Re: Getting Comcast email to work on Sprint Touch!

I had no problem using auto settings to set up my comcast emails. i get them pushed to my Vogue every half hour. Comcast is a POP network, so once you download your emails to a pc they are removed from the server, but your Vogue shouldn't pull them off the server, they should remain on comcast network. I forward the emails I want to my yahoo account so I'll have a copy once I open outlook on my laptop.
