Re: shortcut to weather
you can always use something like weatherpanel, sbsh pocketweather, or spb weather. they're all good apps. they also (i think they all do anyway) give you a today plugin and a separate details type screen that you can map to an icon. unfortunately, they are all pay for play. i personally use weatherpanel. great app with lots of skins. as far as free ones, or using the htc version.... well, i really don't know on that one.

Re: shortcut to weather
I don't think you're going to be able to isolate the HTC weather plugin by itself.
You'll need a standalone weather program. A lot of people use weatherpanel. I started out using tonaya weather to go, then switched to weatherpanel after I discovered ultimatelaunch. |

Re: shortcut to weather
the htc home weather app is native to the plugin as per what i've found on here. look into this thread, i've never known malatesta to lead anyone astray with what he posts. this may be just what you're looking for.

Re: shortcut to weather
You can download the HTC Home Customizer and then disable all the other tabs except the weather one and that way you will only have the weather one. That is how I have mine setup at the moment
