Watching flash video.. i think

Hello I'm new to the boards here. I tried searching and I can't seem to find anything about this just about youtube or something like that.

I just picked up an HTC touch and I'm on the Sprint network. I'm trying to watch this video on my device http://www.maniacworld.com/death-star-cafeteria.html

I went on my computer and downloaded the cab file for flash 7 for ppc and sent it to my sprint email, downloaded and installed it. I go to that website and all that happens is a picture comes up.

Is there any way I can watch that video on my phone? It's the greatest thing ever but it might be NSFW due to language.

There is an entire thread based on watching youtube videos. That is the only workaround so far and only works with certain devices. Search for it. It is easy to install and works great. I think it is TMCPM, but I always get the letters mixed up.

I don't think youtube is flash though is it? I don't know I'm not very smart with computer things. I found the youtube thread but it didn't seem like it would help me play that video. I'll give it a shot I hope I don't break my phone. :/

It won't brick the phone, I have installed it several times. Youtube is flash. If that does not work then nothing will work at this point. We are waiting for adobe to release an updated WM version. Not looking likely for the near future.

You can check out Skyfire but it is in beta and invite only. Could be a while before you get in. There is a thread for that as well.

Google "vtap" - that needs to download the flv files but it works well.

do you google vtap from the phone and download it or your PC? or etc

google vtap from the computer. when you find the app it should have download instructions.
