"Recent Contacts" Text messaging?

On my old-school phone, I could see a list of people I recently texted and select them for quick texting. I can't seem to find a way to do that with the Touch. I go to "contacts" find their name, and go through the business that way. Takes a long time. Any suggestions/software?

it has threaded SMS integrated and when you click on the sms icon from the menu it shows all the people you've been SMSing.

PocketCM on my Touch is unusable. Anytime I click the "start" button at the top of my screen PocketCM and my start meny open up. PocketCM also opens when I click just about anything at the top of the screen. boo
