Phone button is gone on my screen

i though i had a button there that would get to to the dialer pad, how can i get this back?

be a little bit more specific. There is a hard button the bottom left green one, and there is one with the htc home sprint settings which has the music, the photos, live search and sprint tv. if your missing the phone on that one are you missing just the phone or all of the items?

yes on the main screen, the green button works and brings up the phone dialer but i thought there was a button on the main Home screen with a phone icon that i could hit and open it also.

i was messing around with settings to change things and see what diff things looked like and i cant remember if there was a button there on the home screen. If there was its gone and i would like it back or was it just my thinking it was there wrong?

Go 2 start/ settings/today/items/ put a check in the htc home sprint boxs.

yup did that and dont work

have the big clock
3 icons with mail, message and missed calls
4 button below that the home button, weather, launcher, sound
then i have items that you can check in the today menu,

under items i have HTC Home, voicmail IM and calender

there is no button for a icon for a phone.

you know i really cant remember if i had one there i thought i did but could be wrong.

do you have one on your phone? if so then mine is gone and wont it back

you have the (htc home) and the (htc home sprint) boxs checked?

You have to play it's the only way to learn
