Battery life.....

I know this thread is beat to death and I have searched but people get into more discussion and arguments then just the facts, as you can tell from my business thread, I use the heck out of my phone, but the problem is, Its always being charged, I mean this thing is on the charger at almost all times ( car charger ) mind you I am on it while its on the charger, but I noticed lastnight it doesn't charge unless I am off the phone, it will just hold the current charge and go no more.. I was at 4% lastnight and talked for about an hour while plugged into the car, after I hung up I got the message about the battery level again and still at 4-5%.

So.. What are these hacks I hear about? Do they "REALLY" work? I hear different things on them all the time.

What do they disable?

I really don't want to increase the thickness of the phone with the bigger battery.

I have beams disabled, I am not even using push email and I have the brightness mid level and have it dim after 10 sec.

Thanks.

**Edit, will upgrading to 6.1 really help?? Will it change my current programs like Ilauncher, and other settings I already have? Or will it just upgrade and leave everything the same? I don't want a thing to change.

Can I go back if say the new update from sprint comes out with the GPS enabled or can I just load it ontop?

Confused on what the 6.1 really does.I heard it helps with battery though and that is my issue.

Re: Battery life.....

yes they work. but they aren't miracles, maybe you should invest in a bigger battery?
