ICS turning off resends old SMSs

Strange thing has been occurring. I just switched to the built in ICS for tethering my laptop from USBModem. Now whenever I disconnect it the SMSs I sent out in the last 24 hours get resent out and everyone gets REALLY confused. Any idea what may be causing this? I did do a few registry edits related to this too. One was to keep the data connection always active, another was the NAI thing and another involved the ICS but cannot remember off hand what it was. I'll drum them up and post them here if you all think it may be relevant.
