Re: Yahoo Mail on HTC Touch
I have a ??, if I have my htc flashed to metro, and i don't have the email feature, can i still use this? the seven program.
I have the 45 dollar plan which is unlmt calls, text, web, MMS. and the 50 dollar plan i think is that plus email. So is it necessary to access my email through the seven program or the default program on my phone. My phone is originally from sprint. |

Re: Yahoo Mail on HTC Touch
I have two free yahoo mail addresses and I have used the standard email software that came on the stock setup and it has always worked ok. Sometimes I have a hiccup where it will ask me for my password but if I just hit cancel and soft reset it fixes it. I have mine set to check one every 15 and the second every 30 minuites. If you set it to check every 5 minuites or less you waste a lot of battery. IMO

THANK YOU thiS WORKED FOR ME. i tried it some time ago but didn't work, but since i tried this again today, when i create an account put your username and password and select try to get e-mail settings automatically from the internet. If it doesn't work, then skip that step. Select your email provider, in yahoo, just select internet email. Enter your name and the name of the account you want it to display as. Input the Information vboyz103 gave us. Incoming mail server : imap.mail.yahoo.com Account type: imap4 Type in your email username and password again. Outgoing: put smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com (in that same page, select Advanced server settings on the bottom of the page) on network selection, select your network connection. (if you have metropcs select the connection you created.) select done. Decide every when you will send receive emails. It will ask you for your password and it will connect. ![]() |
