Question For ROM Cookers

Have any of you experience weird behavior from your kitchen?

I have a build, it works fine from my XP Media Center desktop.

If I copy the folder to my XP Pro laptop and try to build. I either get an image that won't load correctly ( i.e. provxml files don't run and can't change theme, etc.... ) or just get an invalid image when running RUU.

Very strange.....

The only time I had kind of issue was when I started using g'Reloc. It jacked up my kitchen something fierce. I had to start from scratch (learned very quickly to zip up my kitchen once I release a version lol).

Re: Question For ROM Cookers

Just for giggles on my laptop, I did a prepit.bat on the stock ROM and extracted the contents.

Then did buildos and buildit.bat. RUU went to 100% and then told me my image was invalid. Must be an issue with my laptop.

Samething on my XP Pro desktop, and it worked fine.

Nah, it's got to be the kitchen. I had the same issues with my infamous v2 ROM...

I didn't change machines, but once I started over from scratch it worked like a champ. (Clean = delete kitchen folder, unzip original dogguy kitchen, extract, copy in 6.1)

Re: Question For ROM Cookers

I copied the kitchen from laptop to my desktop over the network.

It worked on my desktop, but not on my laptop.

If it had been the other way around, I could understand if there was an issue during the copy/paste.
