Re: Change background in Large Start Menu?
I'm sure if you go to the touch section...you will find how to change backgrounds there. I would think it's in your settings, today screen if I had to guess!

Re: Change background in Large Start Menu?
Thanks, but I tried all that. It only affects Today Screen background and the default start menu. Has nothing for LARGE start menu. Arrgh.

Re: Change background in Large Start Menu?
So, you're using the stock default start menu? How about LARGE start menu? If you haven't tried it, it's really easy to give it a test drive. Just put a check mark into the checkbox for "Enable large start menu" found here:
Start > Settings > Personal (default tab) > Large Start Menu And if your large start menu has a black background, then I want whatever theme/sheme you have! Thanks for your help. |

Re: Change background in Large Start Menu?
Welp, tried Hitman theme, got black background in large start menu, but... I have my own fave Today Screen background, a pic. And when I checked "Use this picture as the background," the large start menu (and only the large start menu) went right back to that damn'd sea blue! To make a short story long, your help actually did lead to the fix, because it got me thinking outside the bun. Turns out my pic was a BMP, apparently too big of a file size or file type, causing the large start menu to default to standard Windows Mobile blue theme (which is strange, considering that the HTC charcole theme was active). Anyway, all's well that ends well, and this problem ended up being solved by simply converting my Today background pic to JPG. Many thanks, T M Z, for sticking with me on this thread.
