My report:
I flashed the stock Sprint rom and hard reset and that got rid of the Voice Command and Quickmenu errors and enabled me to sync, which I mentioned in a previous post. I then flashed this rom, and all the errors returned. I then reflashed the stock Sprint, but then flashed DerekandJenny's (sp) rom . It ran without errors. But I didn't care for it too much, so I reflashed the stock Sprint rom again and flashed ghettofreeryder's rom. It also ran without errors. Also, I noticed that this rom takes much longer than the previously mentioned 2 roms to boot. I don't know what it's loading at boot to take so much longer.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not criticizing the rom. I like it a lot, but this little experiment indicates to me that there are some bugs.

The previous versions, which I have also used, didn't have any of these problems, except, perhaps, the boot slowness issue, and I look forward to trying the next version, particularly without the cube, which is useless to me.

Hi guys, There also seems to be a problem with text messaging as well. I flashed the previous Rom Jd put out and txt messages come in fine, flash back, and they don't send, or receive. I too am having the problems with marking all email as read, or delting all the email as above.
Hope JD has a fix for this,

report on 4-52008.rar ROM...
ok JD.. I love the theme and wktask and the cube removal but here are some errors i have found..
1) After having the phone on lock (original lock not slide2unlock), for about an hour or so I have taken the phone out of my pocket and realized it has frozen... i look at the screen (which will not turn off with the power button) and I can see that i have one missed call and the only way to get out of this is to hit the reset button on the bottom of my touch...I am not sure what causes this error, but i am sure it only occurs with your rom, not others...this has happened three times since last night's flash (and yes i hard-reseted)
2) there seems to be an error with my touch's caller id.. when people call on my contacts list their number shows up, but there name and picture is not recognized... i haven't installed any contact related programs so I know it is a rom build error... One thing i have noticed that may or may not be related is an error I get while trying to edit a contact.. When I go to any contact and go to the edit screen i can not leave that screen... after hitting "ok" in the top right corner i get an error that says "An unexpected error has occured in this program"

Otherwise i love this rom's speed and available memory... looks great and runs really fast besides these two errors... any advise on how to fix these?

wow, after reading through all of these threads i wonder what's going on, i have not had any of these problems, and have not even had a lockup since installing the rom (installed the first day it was put out, on the 4th)... could this be isolated incidents? or am i just a lucky person?
