rom question?

I used the unlocker provided in the sticky and loaded a rom with no problem. I see alot of roms in the ELf section at xda developers, but even after unlocking my spl i cannot install them. is there a reason why? Can i only install roms from ppcgeeks?

the elf is the gsm version, you need vogue roms

ahhhhhhhh ok! that explains why nothing worked. So its fair to say this is the best place to find roms and cook your own since xda has almost no roms avail in their vogue forums? i thought since the vogue has 128/256 it would be the same

nope, different hardware. roms seem best found here (for the cdma touch,) but xda has an abundance of programs available that can be used on most ppc devices
