Re: Speed on Sprint Touch Vs GSM Touch
No problem, this will also help those that are new to using customs. A lot of people ask about page pool for instance. From the testing that i have done, i can see that pagepool does have an effect on the ROM's performance especially when you look at the last results of the OEM sprint ROM with 12mb page pool vs the 32 mb page pool.
LOL after alll of that flashing, i left my phone with the OEM ROM and absolutely nothing on it cause i'm all flashed OUT -s

Re: Speed on Sprint Touch Vs GSM Touch
so just what exactly are the benefits from flashing our touches to these custom roms again? are we basically flashing only for threaded text, or is there something else i missed? because right now it seems like there really isn't a difference at all

Re: Speed on Sprint Touch Vs GSM Touch
I got 1526 and 152x on my Sprint Touch. Pretty much stock. I did flash a ROM on at one time but I have no idea what it did. Haven't changed it. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to that stuff.

Performance wise, i don't really see a benefit, because if you rule out the page pool, everything else seems to run the same. -s |
