Pocket Plus 4 Battery Meter is WRONG in WM 6.1

Ok, at first i could deal with it....but now its driving me nuts

The battery meter in pocket plus is stuck! It won't update on its own, so while the stock meter shows the correct amount of juice, the pocket plus meter is stuck on that last status.

The only way to update it (that i have found) is to click and hold the meter, then click on "options" then change from "use fixed battery lifetime" to "use statically estimated battery lifetime" or vice versa.

Has anyone else experienced this?

By the way, i have only noticed this with Roms that are based on NoChem's 107 build of WM 6.1, when i used the 100, 103 and 104 builds, i did not have this issue.

So far the closest thing that i have found to a fix is on SPB's forum at the link below:

But the fix that they listed does NOT work

well,i have noticed the same probleem and it has been getting on my nerves if u find a solution or a rom that works with it just let me know,and i also noticed that sometimes it shows that the phone is charging while it is not.

Out of curiousity, which ROM are you using?

I didn't notice this issue with the first WM 6.1 ROM (100) that came out. Only noticed on the 104 and 107 Roms, which i think is where all of the OS was updated. The older one had bits and pieces of WM 6.0 still built in, which may explain part of what is happening.

well i have tried several and noticed that issue with all,i m currently using mrgeof (not sure if i spelled his nickname right,i apologize for that)and also omj and dereks,i m thinking about using a stripped down'clean'wm6 ,man i just switched from mogul with no regrets ,my biggest problem is the battery life ,also a bit off topic just so i wd know if it id normal ,when the fone is charging and i m surfing the net or on the fone it gets really hot is that normal,sorry for bieng off topic,thank you and i ll keep postin my findings

You are not going to believe how i got this problem fixed. I can't really confirm what actually did it because technically i didn't really change anything (except the radio which shouldn't affect pocket plus), but here goes anyway.

I read the thread about the Titan radio (3.27) being used in the Touch. I had already downloaded the radio before it was pulled from the thread, and i figured what the heck, let me try it out.

First thing i did was a full back up of my phone in the event that something went wrong.

Then i installed the radio (not knowing that it does the equivalent of hard resetting your phone).

Now i'm back to nothing installed, but i am using a ROM which auto installs my favorite cabs (including pocket plus).

After everything was loaded, i did a full restore from my back up. This caused my phone to lock up and i had to soft reset about 4 or 5 times.

Finally everything loaded up and this is when i noticed that the battery meter was working normally. This was this morning about 6am and its been accurate since.

I have no effen idea what fixed it or why its working now....but no more issues with the meter.
