ActiveSync 4.5 makes PC crash

I used the disk I got with my phone and it makes the home PC crash. I have installed it 2 times. The PC is fine till it gets restarted and will not load past the screen where you select a user name. It even synced up with my phone once.

I had a 6600 with ActiveSync installed without any trouble.

I have XP.

Anyone else have this problem?

I'm going to see what I can download from MS and see if its any better.

I never got AS to stop crashing the computer.
I did the new ROM on the Touch and didn't restart the computer for 2 days, it worked fine for the 2 days. When I restarted it, I got the same crash as before. Then had to do a restore to keep it from crashing.

I removed the old copy of AS and installed the one off the CD.

Any idea? I had to reset my Touch because it didn't load up Opera or the SprintNav program the first time, and now I need to put AC back on to reload Resco, ect.

I also downloaded from MS, no change.
