WM6.1 Threaded SMS issues?

Almost all my conversations in WM6.1, the threads are all broken up. All my responses are threaded, but all of the other parties' conversations are all replied in separate windows and not joined in the original threaded conversation. Anyone encounter this? Also, the sounds/notifications for the threaded sms don't work. All I get as far as notifications of new SMS messages is the system beep noise...

Mine has worked perfectly from Day 1.
